I was recently lucky enough to visit Sydney on a work trip. Having never been before, I was super excited to finally explore Australia outside of WA, and so extended my trip a few days so I could stay with friends for a long weekend.

Yesterday, I walked my mom down the aisle so she could marry the absolute love of her life.
I also gave the Maid of Honour speech, which was one of the hardest things I’ve ever written – because my mom is the most important person in my life. It had to be perfect!
I wanted to share my speech, in celebration of the day – but also because of the incredible love story it reflects on.
It is a reminder to us all, that true love really does exist ♥
It’s the morning after the night before… and I’m feeling surprisingly refreshed and ready to soak up our final day (booo) in Margaret River, located on the South West coast of WA.
It’s just after 7am the next morning as I snuck out of the apartment for a run around the town - wanting to take everything in one last time before we checked out of the apartment and headed for brekkie overlooking Gnarabup Beach.
The sights that awaited me in the forest were just exquisite - but nothing compared to what the rest of the day had in store...
A few weeks ago, I headed on a fun Aussie road trip with three of my favourite girlfriends to the delicious Margaret River - and of course I totally just had to blog about it!
One post alone just wouldn't do, so I decided to divide the trip up into my Margaret River Memoirs instead... the first was published last week, shortly followed by my review of the chic new Riversmith; a cafe, produce & lifestyle store located at the iconic renovated garage on the main street of #MargaretRiver.
Now it's definitely time to publish my second Margaret River Memoir... although given it's based around a full day of wine tasting, it's a little more (surprisingly in-focus) image-based than copy - for obvious reasons...
