Half A Decade Down Under

05.02.2019

Today marks FIVE YEARS of living in Aussie!

I couldn't not draft a quick little blog post to mark the occasion - I can’t quite believe it’s been five years. That's like, half a decade - 1,825 days! And yet I still fall in love with this delicious island/country/continent a little more each day...

Vivid Views

Walking With Giants In The Amazing South Coast

25.04.2018

Even before moving to Perth four years ago, I wanted to visit the Denmark region of Western Australia. Denmark is situated in the Great Southern Region along the Rainbow Coast. Yep, the Rainbow Coast – where lush green forests fuse with pristine sandy beaches, the magnificent Southern Ocean plays around ancient colossal rocks, and unicorns graze the magical, shimmering coastline... Okay, okay so I made that last bit up – but there’s no doubting Denmark truly is a very magical place.

The amazing south coast of WA has so much to offer – but for me the Elephant Rocks and Valley of the Giants tree top walk were two iconic standouts I just couldn’t wait to visit. Needless to say, the wait was totally worth it…

The Bali Edit Pt. II

06.12.2016

I was told I would either love Bali, or hate it - there was no in-between… And guess what? I LOVED it. Even with all the insect bites. Whilst the vision for this little blog of mine is to embrace all things Aussie lifestyle based, you’re not a real Perthian unless you’ve been to Bali at least once in your life.

I recently travelled to Bali with my best mate from the UK to the gorgeous town of Seminyak and it was delicious! We had an entire luxury villa to ourselves, with a stunning pool, spa, huge living area, spacious bedrooms and even an outdoor shower and bathroom. We were there for five full days and during that time managed to squeeze in an abundance of adventure, shopping and cocktails-a-plenty.

It took so long to edit all the pictures from this trip, that I couldn’t leave it at just one blog… so, welcome to the final piece from my duo of blogs covering our Indonesian adventure; The Bali Edit, Pt II. Enjoy…

The Bali Edit Pt. I

04.11.2016

Whilst I recognise that the foundation of this little blog of mine was to embrace all things Aussie lifestyle based - according to The Urban List, and just about every Aussie I've ever met, you're not a real Perthian unless you've been to Bali at least once in your lifetime.

I was told by most of my Aussie friends that I would either love Bali, or hate it. And guess what? I loved it. It was so like some of the places I’ve travelled around Europe it was insane... I travelled with my best mate of twenty-three years, who was visiting me in Perth from the UK. We were there for five full days and we managed to cram-pack in a lot of adventure, massages and cocktail-giggles.

Me being me, I took about 6,723,914 photos, so its taken me a while to edit them all and I decided to edit a duo of blogs. This is the first... Welcome to my Balinese diary!

Swept Away In Broome!

28.09.2016

I've just returned from an amazing trip in Broome, Western Australia and was literally swept away by the sheer beauty, perfect sunshine and incredible culture on offer!

Alongside its Indian Ocean coastline, the stark white sands of Broome's iconic 22km-long Cable Beach offer a stunning backdrop for some of the most dramatic ocean sunsets WA has to offer. You can walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs at Gantheaume Point, dine at the iconic Matso's brewery (the king of all ginger beers!), hell, you can even ride a bloody camel on the beach!

With history, culture and adventure all as colourful as it's landscape, Broome really does have it all... But don't just take my word for it. Let me show you...

Chasing Waterfalls

05.07.2016

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I adore chasing a good adventure... So when my girlfriend suggested visiting Lesmurdie Falls after she saw it on the Perth To Do Instagram, I was packed and ready to go in under an hour.
